The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) marks the first physical meeting of member state leaders in six years. The summit is being held in Beijing under the theme "Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future." The event will also see the participation of several new African leaders eager to strengthen bilateral ties with China.
