Anting Temple, a provincial cultural heritage site hidden deep in the mountains in East China’s Fujian province, features some of the most representative grey plasterwork in the capital Fuzhou's ancient architecture. It’s a prime example of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) architecture, with the most complete and well-preserved architectural elements. In the first episode of television program Restoring Ancient Residences in Fuzhou, plasterwork craftsmen showed their work restoring Anting Temple using traditional techniques.
