Shenzhen, Guangdong, a major city and special economic zone in the province of China, is home to more than 451 completed skyscrapers over 150 m (492 ft), of which 185 are above 200 m (656 ft), making it the largest concentration in the world. A special economic zone, it is located on the east bank of the Pearl River estuary on the central coast of Guangdong, bordering Hong Kong to the south, Dongguan to the north, Huizhou to the northeast, and Macau to the southwest.
