Anthony Braxton’s 70th birthday, a fitting occasion for the performance of some of his large-scale pieces. Braxton’s Tri-Centric tentet launched the evening, culminating in a spectacular piece for all 20 musicians.

For the first set all the musicians from Tri-Centric play a piece by Anthony Braxton, including himself. After the break all Tri-Centric and Doek musicians join on the stage for another piece by Anthony Braxton.
