Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity || Martin Luther King Jr

Culture of bigotry & hate ‘now’ feels unleashed

To quote Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-Ill.), racists and bigots feel empowered to spew their bile and anyone different than them can be their target. I know there is a deep seated insecurity in America about how good we are, you see it everyday in the way we treat others, if we were confident we were #1 there would be no need to punch the rest of the world while we repeat it constantly, it would be obvious.

“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” ~ MLK

“Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal.” ~ MLK

See how the police officer momentarily forgot his duty?
Proxies, like this bully on the video are often rewarded, as the police ignored the lady’s request.
I experience this kind of stupidity (for matters more appalling than wearing a t-shirt, tho) pretty often, the perpetuators are always cowards and very stupid, regardless of their academic prowess.
