From personal computers to wearables, Chinese tech companies are busy rolling out AI powered devices lately. One company in south China’s Guangdong Province recently released a pair AI glasses equipped with LLMs, large language models, that can translate and transcribe speech in real time. Recent data from market research firm, International Data Corp, predicts that China's PC market will maintain steady growth momentum in the next five years, with AI-powered PCs estimated to make up 85 percent of the overall PC market share in China by 2027. As PC manufacturing continues to recover, Chinese electronic component makers are seeing a surge in orders. This company that produces laptop cooling systems says they added more production lines to meet demand. Data from IDC also shows that global shipments of AI PCs will grow from nearly 50 million units this year to more than 167 million by 2027, which will account for nearly 60 percent of PC shipments worldwide.
