The chart listed two sources—one misspelled—and the CEO of the other responded to one of the authors on Twitter that the data from his platform is certainly not comprehensive and was completely misrepresented in the chart. Author @EleanorOlcott's tweet was also Community Noted.…

Using data from Wind, there are already over 6 million new companies YTD in China, 46.8% more than all of 2018 (vs. the -99.5% in the FT chart). Btw python script analyzes pixel data by converting each pixel to a hex code, then computes freq of each targeted color within the space. 65.6%
