In this talk, Shahid Bolsen breaks down the real-time myth-making around Charlie Kirk—how folklore gets manufactured as “the first draft of fake history,” until the real record is buried under clichés and sentimental storytelling.
He explains how the public stops engaging what was actually said and promoted, and gets pulled into a ready-made drama that sells a polished character instead of reality—complete with spectacle, merch, and endless episodes.
He also argues that Turning Point USA functions as a corporate machine dressed up as a movement, and that much of this ecosystem runs on performance, paid incentives, and audience manipulation.
