Little Chinese Everywhere: Life on a GIANT ROCK in Rural China


We are in rural Yunnan, one of China's least developed regions, exploring a remarkable town built entirely along the face of a cliff. Perched above a river, it offers breathtaking views and a dramatic landscape unlike anywhere else. This area is part of the homeland of the Naxi people, whose unique Dongba script is considered one of the world's last living pictographic writing systems, often compared to ancient hieroglyphs.
