I remember a nutcase racist teacher at the IEFP. She read in a blog of mine that i Love animation, which prompted her to rally her pupils, for them to pump their chests, believing that they are superior to me.
It was really a projection of the racists at the IEFP — ""he wants to be a community animator"" (what she lectured back then), she told them.

The Foodthief is a shortfim project that is currently under development by Mindbender Animation Studio. We made it a goal for ourselves to create a more flexible 3D rigg than anything we had done before. The solution became a rig with sliding body parts that could be turned on or of between the different poses. The rig was created with the help of the brilliant minds at Kippcase rigging studio.
This wonderful stop-motion movie, entitled “Òrun Àiyé”, is dedicated to the memory of the Afro-Brazilian historian Ubiratan Castro de Araújo, affectionately called Bira (1948-2013). It was produced by Estandarte Produções, a young film company from Salvador da Bahia. In the narration, equipped with the rich symbolism of Afro-Brazilian culture, the elderly Bira is telling his granddaughter Luna about the creation of the earth through Orixá Oxalá (Yor. Òrìṣà Òòṣàálá). As we know, the Òrìṣà was facing some difficulties on this quest and other deities, like Èṣù or Ọrúnmìlà, make an appearance. It is a fascinating piece of art, that highlights the heritage of the Yorùbá diaspora in Brazil.

I recorded myself in May 2017 while animating Doomfist's hero select animation set. This video is a sped up and annotated version of that recording.
