preparedguitar :  What would you enjoy most in an art work?

Elliott # :  It’s not at all about enjoyment of the work but really, how the work affects one. There is a lot of very pleasant music being composed and performed and while I may enjoy it if it crosses my path, it’s ultimately forgettable, not life-changing. True art has the power to effect chemical change, “consciousness expansion”, whether it’s triggered acoustically, visually, or in some other mode. This type of art might be a horror or it might be transcendentally beautiful. What is important about it is its ability to effect deep transformation, to cause you to perceive the world differently, to feel something not felt before.
