Paradox of Tolerance || Karl Popper

via DF

The paradox of tolerance was described by Karl Popper in 1945. The paradox states that if a society is tolerant without limit, their ability to be tolerant will eventually be seized or destroyed by the intolerant. Popper came to the seemingly paradoxical conclusion that in order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance.

A Poor Sees Other Poor As THE Poor, And there is NO end to it.

When the Poor Turn Against the Poor from The Atlantic on Vimeo.

The American fairytale is far from enchanted, argues Matthew Stewart in his June 2018 cover story for The Atlantic. Power and wealth are concentrated in an anxious aristocracy, comprised of 10% of the population, that reigns by dividing the lower classes and pitting them against each other. It’s how most aristocracies throughout history have worked. It’s also how the American elite convinced 25 million non-slaveholding citizens to aid and abet them in slavery.

Can America ever live up to its promise of a government by and for the people?

As an African, this is a reminder of the worst kind of racism, the one directed toward ourselves, I know it is an heritage of colonialism ( the colonisation of Africa and the bondage conditions of Africans scattered all over the world was unique in all aspects and the scars of reverse racism is the biggest ordeal )
To me this is the biggest problem to tackle for the future generation well being.

Fervor Or Natural Born Killers vs. Socially Manufactured Ones

FUTUR SAUVAGE / JONATHAN DJOB NKONDO

FUTUR SAUVAGE / JONATHAN DJOB NKONDO from Box Of Toys Audio on Vimeo.

Jonathan Djob Nkondo's acclaimed Instagram comic series "Futur Sauvage" is merged into a full length animated short. We were invited to help bring the jungle reverie to life with music and sound design. Watch the original Instagram series here: instagram.com/futursauvage/

APPROACH /

Musically we wanted to induce a dreamlike environment. Electroacoustic pads and tones reflect emotional content whilst organic percussive rhythms add momentum where necessary. We used a repetitive log drum loop to instill a meditative quality and echo the natural surroundings (this element was actually inspired by the music of Predator). Sound design looks to illustrate the living aspects of the story, from the native flora and fauna to the human protagnists. Much of the human voice work was acted and recorded here at BXFTYS.
